Technical sales - Area Sales Manager, Healthcare

The job:
We need an Area Sales Manager to:
- Developing business within the health food and pharmaceutical industries in the Nordic countries.
- Providing optimum solutions to our customers based on our wide range of raw materials and ingredients.
- Extending our network and searching for new opportunities and projects with our customers.
You will refer to the sales manager and be responsible for the budget in your segment. Developing the cooperation with a number of our suppliers in cooperation with your colleagues will also be one of your responsibilities. You will have a high degree of freedom in your daily work. Sales are project-oriented, and the approach is close dialogue with the R&D, quality, production and purchase functions of our customers. A lot of canvassing will be required.
The job will involve many international relations and about 50-60 days with travelling activities in Denmark and abroad.
Your qualifications & background:
- Pharmacist, chemical engineer or similar education.
- Knowledge of the quality requirements in the pharmaceutical industry (GMP).
- Experience with working with ingredients would be ideal.
- Sales experience will be an advantage, but is not a must.
- English in writing and orally as well as understanding the Scandinavian languages in writing and orally.
- You are extrovert, energetic and result oriented.
